Disposible bloodlines are manufactured using double-layer co-extrusion technology. The outer layer is made of non DEHP plasticized PVC, while the inner layer, which comes into contact with blood, is made of medical grade TPU material. This combination offers high biocompatibility and chemical stability. Clinical trials have proven the tubing to be safe and reliable, addressing the long standing safety concerns associated with PVC (DEHP in PVC is a carcinogen), thereby enhancing the long term safety for dialysis patients.
