Sinohealth Attends the 2023 Annual Congress of the Chinese Society of Nephrology, Gathering Industry Experts for a Summit

The 2023 Annual Congress of the Chinese Society of Nephrology was held in Xiamen, Fujian Province, from December 6 to 10.

Sinohealth was invited to attend the meeting and joined numerous experts and medical professionals from the field of nephrology both domestically and internationally to exchange academic ideas, discuss professional development, clinical skills, and enhance research capabilities. The event provided a comprehensive and multi-faceted understanding of the latest trends and advancements in nephrology research.

Highlights of the Meeting

The meeting is the largest and highest-level academic event in the field of nephrology in China. Featuring a diverse range of formats and rich content, the meeting brought the most cutting-edge academic knowledge in the field of nephrology, showcasing CSN's academic achievements in various aspects, from basic to clinical, theory to practice, treatment to research, and from discipline development and construction to clinical diagnosis and treatment technology.

The meeting was attended by 6,957 participants, including 11 foreign guests, 7 Hong Kong and Macao compatriots, and 343 speakers and chairs. There were 16 plenary lectures, 41 special sessions, 307 lectures, including 192 thematic lectures, 26 English special sessions, and 14 clinical case studies. There were also 29 CME courses and 5,496 submissions, including 70 oral presentations, 1,065 posters, and 107 outstanding posters.

Meeting Highlights

Professor Jiang Gengru, Secretary-General of the Chinese Society of Nephrology, presided over the closing ceremony. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the experts who came to Xiamen for academic exchange and to the colleagues from all over the country who attended the meeting seriously.

This is also the first academic annual meeting of the 12th Committee of the Chinese Society of Nephrology. I hope that the academic exchanges at the meeting will enable our colleagues from all over the country to gain something and contribute to the further development of nephrology in China."
